Thomas Jefferson University Hospital

Thomas Jefferson University Hospital was established in Philadelphia in 1825 as part of Jefferson Medical College (now Thomas Jefferson University). In addition to the main hospital, services are provided at the Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience, Methodist Hospital and Jefferson at the Navy Yard in South Philadelphia; and Jefferson at Voorhees in South Jersey.

A teaching hospital, Jefferson is highly-ranked in a number of clinical specialties including orthopedics, cancer and gastroenterology. As of 2015, the hospitals have 951 licensed acute care beds and a medical staff of 1648.
