The original Elizabeth General Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ was consolidated with St. Elizabeth Hospital in 2000 to become Trinitas Regional Medical Center. Trinitas incorporates 554 beds over two city campuses, treating over 17,000 inpatients annually.
Today, Elizabeth General Medical operates as the Trinitas Regional Medical Center on Williamson Street in downtown Elizabeth. The 450-member medical staff represents numerous specialties including surgery, neurology, obstetrics/gynecology, orthopedics, pediatrics, internal medicine, cardiology and oncology.
Trinitas Regional Medical Center is a Catholic teaching hospital affiliated with the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth.
